Lifestyle:Where we eat..

Our eating lifestyle have changed a lot.Mamak business cash registers are working 24/7 and raking billions ringgit annually.Restaurants are every where -in big cities, small towns,by seasides, in shopping malls etc. Most people eat on the go.The above is a very special one- a restaurant inside a supermarket at Nu Sentral.Someting new to me.I have seen a small restaurant even inside a butcher's shop! That is cool..

Below is a normal kopitiam open 24/7 at KLIA.

Our work life affect how we live and eat.Nowadays,we have less time to cook. Most people eat outside. They have the money but not the time to cook.On weekends ,they have sport and social activities-again they eat outside.Nowadays, new houses have smaller kitchen.

Food is forever good business in Malaysia.Eating is our national pastime! In other words,we eat all the time.Just enter a mamak shop like the one shown below. That is why our obesity rate is almost 50%.

Food trucks have in business for more than a decade.Lately, they are allowed to operate at selected events and places even in Putrajaya. Some of them become a permanent fixture at some Pasar Tani like MyFarm in Putrajaya.

Below is a Nadi Bus that has been converted to Buz  Cafe serving food and drinks during our National Sport Day right in the capital City of Malaysia.

One point of my concerns is what we eat and how clean the food sold by these vendors in the restaurants, food court, food stalls and food trucks. We must be selective where we eat and what we eat beause the food make us what we are.

KB WALK

I planned to have four days of Photowalking around Kota Bharu #KBWalk ,but due to unplanned family errands which I love doing for my  mother and son,I only managed to have two days with only less than 4 hours.Herewith I shared two photos taken behind Pejabat PAS. To do justice to the town,I need at least 7 full days and nights to capture the history  and culture of the place. My first attempt had revealed a lot more for me to explore, discover and capture.Another missing dimension I need to have with me before I embark on KBWalk is the history of Kota Bharu. It has to be another time..May be after Eidil Fitri.
