RIDING PHOTOS

I love to take photos of my friends cycling. But many a  time I was made to lead a ride in Putrajaya, not because I am a good rider but because I know the routes. So,I take less photos compared to those who just ride and follow the group. Most of my photos are taken by them and I seldom do selfies. The above is a photo I took at KLCFD Ride last month.I love to see family members riding together for fun .

Below is our regular monthly ride in Putrajaya. It is on the 4th Sunday of each month.Usually,I did not follow their big group as I am more confortable riding with my own buddies around Putrajaya,
Here, you can see The President of Putrajaya leading the ride. The leader must be seen with the public and be where the action is.If we want the people to adopt and live a healthy lifestyle, the leaders must show the way and lead by example.Otherwise,it is just rhetoric. The same with other good behaviours.

I notice that bicycle is in vogue now.It is being used to sell properties and a decoration at restaurant. Some vintage bicycles are also seen  on the street.Even though they don't ride, but some people like to take photos with a few bicycles as props or back ground as seen above.

I ride with everyone, not limiting to a particular brand or type of bicycle. To me,fellow riders matter more than their bicycle types and brands.Everyone has their own preference.I respect our diversity and celebrate our differences. The photo above was taken by a friend showing photo of our small group of Brompton riders.Below is my shot in KL of a lone rider with her colourful Brompton.La vita e bella..

Being a grand father,I enjoy being with and see children cycling. It reminds me of my childhood days more than 50 years ago.At the same time,I am promoting and inspiring my friends to get their kids and family members on the saddles. It is a good lifestyle and exercise. The photos above and below were taken during KLCFD.

Last month,we went to Cyberjaya. There were 20 of us.Normally,we ride more distance and longer time. But nowadays, the heat is too much. Here is a photo of my fellow rider cycling at Tasik Cyberjaya. She wore green, riding a green(lime) Brompton bicycle in a green environment and my eyes turned green with envy.Let us GO GREEN-Green City and eat more green.

KB WALK

I planned to have four days of Photowalking around Kota Bharu #KBWalk ,but due to unplanned family errands which I love doing for my  mother and son,I only managed to have two days with only less than 4 hours.Herewith I shared two photos taken behind Pejabat PAS. To do justice to the town,I need at least 7 full days and nights to capture the history  and culture of the place. My first attempt had revealed a lot more for me to explore, discover and capture.Another missing dimension I need to have with me before I embark on KBWalk is the history of Kota Bharu. It has to be another time..May be after Eidil Fitri.

COMPARISON BETWEEN MY IPHONE 14 ProMax VS FUJIFILM XT20

No camera is suitable for every occasion. Here is a simple comparison. Both have their own strengths and weaknesses, and I love both. When I go photowalking with friends, I use more smartphones than the Fujifilm XT20. FUJIFILM XT20 iPhone 14 Pro Max (Smartphone) vs Fujifilm X-T20 (Mirrorless) – Image Quality Breakdown IPHONE 14 PRO MAX 1. Sensor & Processing iPhone 14 Pro Max Uses a 48 MP quad-pixel sensor that down-samples to 12 MP by default; ProRAW unlocks full 48 MP output   . Features Apple’s “Photonic Engine” that enhances detail, color, and low-light performance via computational photography  . Produces excellent detail, color accuracy, and dynamic range—especially in daylight; however, images sometimes show over-sharpening on foliage/glossy textures  . DXOMARK cites strengths like vivid color, wide dynamic range, sharp detail, and low noise; potential drawbacks include clipping highlights and noise indoors  . Fujifilm X-T20 Features a...
