REFLECTION ON GLASS

Our Theme of The Week is Reflection On Glass as suggested by Pah Ngak Ishak. If we move in the city with many walls made of glass,we shall see many interesting reflections. The building facades remain the same but the reflection depends on the weather on that day and the what is nearby. The photo shown above was beautiful to me because of so many distortions of images of buildings nearby.

Whay do we get reflection from transparent glass?By right, we must be able to see right through. Now the glass becomes a mirror. How could that happened? Some images are severely distorted and some are almost perfect with little distortion. At closer distance, you can see through the glass and yet see your own reflection. It is a point to ponder on the behaviour of light. If light travels in straight lines, how come a straight line roof become a curve?

See and study the reflections on the curved building above and the straight flat building below. What do you see and conclude.Enjoy the fun of discovery..
