SEEING THE SIGHT-Reading The Photos

How do we read the photo? Since a photo is a visual composition, it must have its own elements in terms of paragraphs, sentences and words. In the above photo,if the people are the words, where they are and what they do  individually or in group  will be the sentences and paragraphs that tell the story.Their locations relative to one another and the beach will be their conversation.

In the above photo, you can read the present but also the past.As they say,the writings are on the wall. The past lead to the present..

Ever wonder why the photographer took the photo in the first place?Try looking for the point of interest. How he frame the photo and guess what time of the day the photo was taken and the location of the camera. What is the depth of field-shallow or deep?Reading the elements will make us learn more about the photo and the photography.

I had great time sipping my teh tarik and writing my personal jounal and watching the world goes by from my table. Similarly with the above photos, you can read this photo with more imagination to tell your own story.Enjoy and have a good day..

KB WALK

I planned to have four days of Photowalking around Kota Bharu #KBWalk ,but due to unplanned family errands which I love doing for my  mother and son,I only managed to have two days with only less than 4 hours.Herewith I shared two photos taken behind Pejabat PAS. To do justice to the town,I need at least 7 full days and nights to capture the history  and culture of the place. My first attempt had revealed a lot more for me to explore, discover and capture.Another missing dimension I need to have with me before I embark on KBWalk is the history of Kota Bharu. It has to be another time..May be after Eidil Fitri.

10th YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF ADIB NOH PHOTOGRAPHY BLOG

Here is a selection of my photos taken over the ten years with my Fujifilm camera, Smartphones (Samsung/apple) and Lumix LX5. How do I select 40 photos as shown here from more than 10,000 photos taken and uploaded? I just selected at random whatever photos I like to cover various genres of photography. May be I add ten more later.
