SEEING THE SIGHT-Nostagic reminders

When my son who was born in 80's and later, sees paddy fields along the roads,it is just a place where rice come from.My kids never been inside the paddy friend and never plant or harvest any rice there.Contrary to my generation who hailed from kampung area,my grandpa brought me to the paddy fields and did some help like planting and harvesting. When I see paddy fields,it brings back nostalgia of my childhood and kampung life.It is a different sight to me as compared to my son's generation some 30 years later.

Owing to the geneartion gap and lifestyle experience of growing up,the same photo has different sights of meaning to different people. My grandson will dare not walk in the above wetland, but it was my play ground when I was a kid.

The wakaf above is a nice place where I took my kids for picnic at KLCC Garden more than a decade ago.During my time, wakaf are places for wayfarers stopped for rest, pray and eat along their long journey by walking or cycling.Froms and functions change with time.

10th YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF ADIB NOH PHOTOGRAPHY BLOG

Here is a selection of my photos taken over the ten years with my Fujifilm camera, Smartphones (Samsung/apple) and Lumix LX5. How do I select 40 photos as shown here from more than 10,000 photos taken and uploaded? I just selected at random whatever photos I like to cover various genres of photography. May be I add ten more later.
