AT SOLARIS PETRONAS

On my way back home,we got hungry and stopped at Petronas Solaris Station to eat at Craven Cafe which serves my favourite mee mamak. To my unpleasant suprise,it was cosed.I don't know whether it is going to remain close or just for a day.No notice/So,my son decided to eat at Hot & Go.It is a small stall but looks nice and I felt cozy inside.

Inside my sling bag,I had my usual compact Lumix LX5.While waiting for the food to be prepared I decided to sit on the opposite side of beautifully designed wall(as shown above) ,on my right was the counter and on my left was the view towards the entarnce shown below.I told myself to wait and shoot when I see someone sitting in these locations.

In the above photos,I used the wall as a an attractive background for a shot of a lady waiting for her order, and I also used the glass opening to frame the photo of a gentleman catching up with his smart phone outside the stall.

By fixing my location to shoot,I put a physical constraint on my views and forced myself to be creative in my choice of what to shoot and be more creative in my composition.

On the way out,I looked around and moved around the place and shot a few photos in Black & White:
