Creative Landscape Photos

Here are a few attempts I did this morning to get creative shots while I was doing my morning walk..

Today is my lucky day.As soon as I saw this bird sun bathing on the guard rails at the weir of the lake,I took out my Lumix LX5 and zoomed at it at 4X.I was very scared it might just take off on seeing me approaching it.I was as slow as I can to prevent the bird from sensing my presence. As soon as I got this image on my back screen,I just pressed my shutter button. Two seconds later this bird flew away.Pheww..

Without the presence of this bird, this landscape photo is life less.It took a lot of efforts, patience and good luck to get a great shot!

Anyone can get a good photo of a beautiful landscaped scenery. But the real challenge is to make ordinaryscenery looks great with creative natural  lighting and ingenious composition. In the photo above,I used a beautiful building facade as interesting background for the photo. And for the photo below,I used a branch of a tree with some blooming flowers as a foreground to brighten the hazy background and misty lake.

Below is another attempt to make an ordinary scenery looks more beautiful by using the leaves as a natural frame. It is not easy to be creative but let us put more efforts to make our landsacpe photos more interesting..
