SERENITY



SERENITY IS A WORD I HAVE CHOSEN FOR THE TOP AND BOTTOM PHOTOS


The above two photos were taken a few years back while I was looking for something beautiful and at the same time learning to use my first DSLR camera.Last year,my school mate mentioned about my photos I posted at my facebook.He told  me that he liked my photos.I was looking forward to hear that my photos are nice and beautiful but to my pleasant suprise  he said my photos gave him the feeling of calmness and goodness.Then only I realised that my photos like the two above have their own stories.I thought I captured the beauty but the serenity was potrayed to my viewers.From my observations,serenity and beauty are mutually exclusive-one is not the other.However,serene photos have their own beauty..

Below,I attach a few more photos that I think have the serenity element and evoke the feeling of calmness,tranquility and peace.




Large body of still water is the common denominator in my photos.I think any  large body of land will have similar effect.
