READING BOOK..

It is a rare sight to see Malaysians reading books in public places like train stations, airport or in cafes. Some still read newspapers inside kopitiams but more and more prefer to see on their smart phones-Facebook, News, whatsapp, telegram, twitter etc.Even in the mosques, some people read Quran from their smart phones.

Internet and smart phone apps had made many changes on the ways we get and read information, news, articles ,notes etc. What is more important is more and more people are reading.

What they read is another matter.Let us not be prejudiced about what they read online because we are reading real books. The young people may be reading better stuff than we do.If we have good contents for our young people to read, convert them online and make them more interesting to read.

All of us young and old must embrace disruptive technologies and use them to our advantages.

Personally,I still like paper books.Old habit die hard.

KB WALK

I planned to have four days of Photowalking around Kota Bharu #KBWalk ,but due to unplanned family errands which I love doing for my  mother and son,I only managed to have two days with only less than 4 hours.Herewith I shared two photos taken behind Pejabat PAS. To do justice to the town,I need at least 7 full days and nights to capture the history  and culture of the place. My first attempt had revealed a lot more for me to explore, discover and capture.Another missing dimension I need to have with me before I embark on KBWalk is the history of Kota Bharu. It has to be another time..May be after Eidil Fitri.

10th YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF ADIB NOH PHOTOGRAPHY BLOG

Here is a selection of my photos taken over the ten years with my Fujifilm camera, Smartphones (Samsung/apple) and Lumix LX5. How do I select 40 photos as shown here from more than 10,000 photos taken and uploaded? I just selected at random whatever photos I like to cover various genres of photography. May be I add ten more later.
