GEOMETRY:ROOF CURVATURES

When I was an engineering student in early 70's,I used a drawing board, set squares, rulers and French Curve for my drawing class work. To draw a curve,I use a French Curve. Nowadays, the student uses AutoCAD - just click, copy and paste. That is an easy part. The difficult part is how do you transform those drawings into curved roof ceiling, trusses and walls?

My architect friend has a simple way to do it.He just put a small note-To Engineers Details! That is where engineer's nightmare begins.

At my golden age,I am not bothered how to do all the engineering stuff. Now is my time to enjoy the beauty of curvatures wherever they are and capture them on my camera. Later, the good photos are selected for sharing at my Facebook and blogs.

One of my favourite 3-D Roof Curvatures is at KLIA.Every time I am at KLIA, I will take a photo of it. Usually, I will include some human elements to make it more alive and interesting.

This is at Amsterdam Centraal-the city railway station. I love the shape, span and colours.

10th YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF ADIB NOH PHOTOGRAPHY BLOG

Here is a selection of my photos taken over the ten years with my Fujifilm camera, Smartphones (Samsung/apple) and Lumix LX5. How do I select 40 photos as shown here from more than 10,000 photos taken and uploaded? I just selected at random whatever photos I like to cover various genres of photography. May be I add ten more later.
