ON STRUCTURES

Structural elements of building are nomally hidden by some forms of architectural cladding, covers or treatment to make them look nicer or to just hide them away.Roof trusts are hidden by ceilings and coloumns wore some beautiful wrappings as shown above.

Below is a building in London. It appears that the Gerkin is wrapped with some diamond shapped steel structures which form the exterior claddings. As a photographer,it looks like exposed building strutural elements.

The morning sun lighted the bridge made of a series of big culverts.Simple and elegant engineering structure
masterpiece.

Below is the exposed arched roof structure of a mosque. Here,I could see the beautiful intergration of achitecture and engineering. And I love it..

A photo like below is nice to look but it was very difficult to design and construct. My sympathy with the engineers and contractors. As a photographer,I see its elegance in the landscape of Putrajaya.

Beautiful buildings and bridges are every where. How do you take photos that make them look elegant  and beautiful? The above are what came out from my humble efforts.I need to learn and shoot more.
