EyeEm Lession #06:Timing and Patience

Joining photowalk with fellow photographers made me learn a few lessons.I began to see people and things as they are on the streets.I keep my eyes and my mind open.No prejudice and sentiment-just look, see and react - to shoot or not to shoot!Plan nothing on what to see and capture.Just walk and go with the flow..

After a few walks in KL and Putrajaya,I have identified a few places where I go to take photos. It is the place and the time. The top and bottom photos were taken at Nu Sentral,KL.I love taking photos of people coming up the escalator.

During my  few photowalks,I came upon a few interesting locations that have strong background patterns and colours. So,I just wait fot something to happen and get my shots. It is about timing and being parient.

Below are shots taken at shopping complexes

Whenever I am at the airports or railway stations,I find myself a place to shoot,Here are a few..

From my observations and experience in the last decade, the three factors shall determine what photograph comes out from each shot. The factors are the photographer, the subject and the camera.Timing and patience are related to the subject and the photographer.Good camera usially gives better quality image.

KB WALK

I planned to have four days of Photowalking around Kota Bharu #KBWalk ,but due to unplanned family errands which I love doing for my  mother and son,I only managed to have two days with only less than 4 hours.Herewith I shared two photos taken behind Pejabat PAS. To do justice to the town,I need at least 7 full days and nights to capture the history  and culture of the place. My first attempt had revealed a lot more for me to explore, discover and capture.Another missing dimension I need to have with me before I embark on KBWalk is the history of Kota Bharu. It has to be another time..May be after Eidil Fitri.
