Light without colours!

It was the light and shadows on the bridge piers that stopped my morning walk at Laman Tasik Selatan,Presint 8 ,Putrajaya to snap the above photo.I took this photo in colours and converted it later to B&W photo. When the colours were converted to various shades of grey,it looks more dramatic to me.Nothing in the real world is black and white;but this is photography!

These two photos show the silhouttee of Masjid Putra under the glaring morning sun.The ordinate details are hidden but suddenly I see the overall big picture shape becoming more dominant and interesting.

This is the view of Presint 2 of Putrajaya-with the jetty as the foreground and the other with the Lake Cruise  Catamaran.
The light played a spot light role for the audience to focus on.

This last photo is my all time favourite of B&W of the view of towers from Water Sport Centre next to Pullman Hotel. It has a story to tell and the B&W conversion exposed the inner beauty of the scenery. The shapes, patterns and textures are well exposed.

10th YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF ADIB NOH PHOTOGRAPHY BLOG

Here is a selection of my photos taken over the ten years with my Fujifilm camera, Smartphones (Samsung/apple) and Lumix LX5. How do I select 40 photos as shown here from more than 10,000 photos taken and uploaded? I just selected at random whatever photos I like to cover various genres of photography. May be I add ten more later.
