As I grow older, I prefer to travel on public transport than to drive. Travelling by train gives me comfort and safety. And I enjoy more compared to travelling by bus or car. I love train travels.
My love affairs with train travels began in 1965 when I took my first train ride om 8th January 1965 on my way from Palekbang, Gemas,KL and Tanjung Malim, Perak. The joy of travelling by train continued when I studied in England from 1973-76.
The climax of my train travels took place in 1997 when I took my wife and kids for our 20th wedding anniversary and crossed The English Channel via Eurostar from Paris to Waterloo, London.And I did it again 20 years later last month (May,2017)from Brussel to St Pancras Station in London.As they say,the rest is history.
