The above is simply Penang Restaurant and below is the Cafeteria at IKEA Cheras, Kuala Lumpur.Both were full even on second of Aidil Fitri(26/6/2017)
It only means ONE thing to me.The meals served are good and affordable.I went for Penang Char Kway Teow!
While looking for empty seats for my wife and son, I stole a few glances to see what my fellow Malaysians were eating.To my surprise ,most of them ate foreign dishes.No matter how good and tasty are our local dishes, many of us, including yours truly, still want to try and eat some exotic Danish meals who names we cannot even pronounce properly.Maybe familiarity breed contempt!
