OXFORD STREET:
From my observations, the roads are meant for cars, taxis and buses.I dare not ride my bicycle on the streets of London. It is only for the young and agile cyclists and not for senior citizens like me.
The sidewalks are only for walking and not for cycling.
Most London cyclists wear helmets and only a few Amsterdam cyclists do.This says volume about the safety of cycling between the two cities.
London is good for walking and taking street photography- unless I cycle in Hyde Park or along River Thames.
