RIDE & READ

First, let me thank Dato' Seri Dr Zaini Ujang for starting this initiative since January 2016 for our cycling group.Yesterday was our second time and first event for the year 2017.I hope we can do this event once every two months.

Most of our group members read books regularly and enjoy reading as much as we enjoy cycling. However,to most of us,reading is a private affair.

Reading a selected portion of the book is an explicit way of sharing what we read, what we think, what we learn. This exercise is also good for listening. In fact, listening is more difficult than reading.

The more books we read do not eaual to the more knowledge we gain. However, good conversations about what we read may lead us to the path of knowledge and hopefully we shall arrive at the citadel of wisdom.

"There is no short cut to knowledge and learning.Knowledge is not citations.Learning is not quotations.
Knowing is understanding and understanding is to act in accordance to knowledge, i.e. the becoming true to the meanings at which the intellect has arrived."-Prof Dr Muhammad Zainy Uthman.

KB WALK

I planned to have four days of Photowalking around Kota Bharu #KBWalk ,but due to unplanned family errands which I love doing for my  mother and son,I only managed to have two days with only less than 4 hours.Herewith I shared two photos taken behind Pejabat PAS. To do justice to the town,I need at least 7 full days and nights to capture the history  and culture of the place. My first attempt had revealed a lot more for me to explore, discover and capture.Another missing dimension I need to have with me before I embark on KBWalk is the history of Kota Bharu. It has to be another time..May be after Eidil Fitri.
