This is something like The Tales of Two Cities or the Malay film Antara Dua Darjat. The top is Taman Tasik Cempaka, located in the town of Bandar Baru Bangi,Selangor and below is Putrajaya Lakes. The garden of Taman Tasik Cempaka was beautifully designed and landscaped. Over the years, the condition has deteriorated especially the lake part. The lake is the pull factor and yet it was left to rot. Just look at the photos and go there for yourself to see and smell the place.
Now, the town of Bangi is undergoing massive commercial development. Soon, it will be congested. The living condition will be getting worse. No more free car parks from next month. At night, Bangi is dark-very scary to drive around. We are going to be the city of shopkeepers who are only interested in what goes into their tills. By right, the people must come first. Ask any town planners and politicians, people is the most important but in practice, money talks louder.
Just compare the above three photos and the three below.Bangi is about 10km from Putrajaya. The Management made a lot of difference.Over to you YAB Dato' Menteri Besar of Selangor.I am now saving money to move to Putrajaya.InsyaAllah.

The rich few among us may live in big bungalows, drive big cars and work in spacious lofty offices but they cannot run away from the cities where they work and enjoy their lives. The rich, the middle class and the poor walk the same street and breath the same air. Our environmental conditions and constraints belong to every one of us. It must be our concern and we must do something about it so that we live a better life. How could we hand over our bad environment to our grand children when we depart this world?
