B&W: CAFE SHOTS

What is so interesting about people having food and drink in a restaurant, cafe or roadside stall? If I am having my meals inside the cafe,I feel nothing.I am just one of the members of the crowd. However, when I stop eating alone,I become an observer.Looking around what people are doing and more so on the conversations taking place at every table.

As a photographer,I see beauty in many different ways.I see harmony between a group of people in a beautiful setting with artistic background.I see beauty in friends having conversations and laughters while they eat.And of cource,I do see some beautiful waitresses moving around serving the customers.

In the above photo, the morning sun rays came directly to light this Mamak Shop.I saw a cluster of nasi lemak on the table, casting long shadows on the table. In the background,I saw people having breakfast with spots of light and dark shadow on them. That is beauty to me!

Below is the wall with artistic graphics attracted my attention. It is now common feature as interior decorative elements.

After having meals, some people do their work at the cafes.I love to see people reading and writing. They look beautiful to me-not only in their action but also in themselves.I see them as educated and cultured.

The Loaf above never fails to seduce me to enter, sit there, enjoy the food and the ambiance. Here,I prefer to be alone with my thoughts and camera.

KB WALK

I planned to have four days of Photowalking around Kota Bharu #KBWalk ,but due to unplanned family errands which I love doing for my  mother and son,I only managed to have two days with only less than 4 hours.Herewith I shared two photos taken behind Pejabat PAS. To do justice to the town,I need at least 7 full days and nights to capture the history  and culture of the place. My first attempt had revealed a lot more for me to explore, discover and capture.Another missing dimension I need to have with me before I embark on KBWalk is the history of Kota Bharu. It has to be another time..May be after Eidil Fitri.
