Urban Street Photography



My interest in street photography picked up in recent years when I encountered some great photography online and when I took part in organised Street Photowalk by local and international events like Scott Kelby.Next coming event is on 17th September,2016-500PX Global Photowalk in KL.I also organised my Putrajaya Photowalk so that my friends can join me and take great photos of Putrajaya.

 Now,I joined a few local and international Street Photography Online groups.Two days ago,I discovered a new group called Urban Street Photography.I was amazed at the quality of  online magazine the group produced every month.



Street Photography means different things to different photographers.We understood it the way we like it to be.But when I see too many photos just taken on the streets in a few online street photography groups,I just backed and moved away.To me,the photos must have the human story in public places.Period.

  Should photographers explain their photos, or let the images speak for themselves? A strong photograph can stand on its own. It invites people to look, pause, and interpret the moment in their own way. But sometimes a few words from the photographer reveal the quiet story behind the frame — what was seen, felt, or noticed in that fleeting moment. Perhaps the balance is this: Let the photo speak first. Let the words gently reflect afterwards. 📷
