TREES LANDSCAPE

The last line of coconut trees along Pantai Irama,Bachok. Now,all these trees are gone.No one bother to plant new ones.Sad but true to many beautiful beaches around the country.Instead, more food stalls are constructed.

Some of my photos received more than 100 likes  and my Facebook friends left very generous comments like beautiful, great ,wow and other nice words. What are the meaning of those words to a photographer? The components of beauty are mainly but not limited to composition, lighting, creativity and technicality.Similar  in  ingredients to make a good buryani rice or nasi dagang.

Just like taking a landscape photo, most of us can do in the same manner  as most of us can cook rice. But we all know that only a few can cook nasi dagang or nasi buryani. The same goes to taking great landscape photography.

I am using the food as analogy to enable better understanding of what I am going to say and pass the message to my readers. The food may be decorated to look visually nice but the real thing is the taste and the experience felt by the one who eats the food that matters.

The above photos can look nice but what is the message? The  message means more that what we photographers can show using the image we captured. Not just message, but also the story! If not ,it is just like a beautiful food that no one eats it.

Here,I am exploring the beauty of trees landscape.Tree is the most abundant on our planet earth but depleting slowly and surely as we continue building concrete jungle instead.I am happy to note that we at last realised our follies and now more interested to live in greener environment. Now,city folks are going out more to see the greener pastures.

And we photographers must inspire and motivate our folks to go back to nature and enjoy  happier and healthier  lifestyle. How do we go about doing that?Your suggestions are most welcome.

KB WALK

I planned to have four days of Photowalking around Kota Bharu #KBWalk ,but due to unplanned family errands which I love doing for my  mother and son,I only managed to have two days with only less than 4 hours.Herewith I shared two photos taken behind Pejabat PAS. To do justice to the town,I need at least 7 full days and nights to capture the history  and culture of the place. My first attempt had revealed a lot more for me to explore, discover and capture.Another missing dimension I need to have with me before I embark on KBWalk is the history of Kota Bharu. It has to be another time..May be after Eidil Fitri.

COMPARISON BETWEEN MY IPHONE 14 ProMax VS FUJIFILM XT20

No camera is suitable for every occasion. Here is a simple comparison. Both have their own strengths and weaknesses, and I love both.
