This basketful of cakes is enough to feed hundred people for breakfast.It is not the main dish but a favourite dessert of mine.It is called by Kelantanese Buah Beko.This delicacy is made from glutinous rice powder and ripped coconuts.It is seldom made nowadays by the new generation of cake makers.It is very difficult to find one outside Kelantan.
My normal shot of food is sharp and clear,exposing the various components to seduce viewers to like it,but not in this case.I want to tell it as a story as the famous cakes sitting pretty and proud in Pasar Jelawat among hundreds of other cakes.
