I chose five photos to be my five sentences to describe the subject matter. It is more like five senses of myself experiencing my encounter with Musang King durian - the sight, the smell, the taste and not to mention the cost!
A few years ago, I took part in the Photowalk at Bukit Bintang, KL. It was led by a well-known and experienced photojournalist. We were briefed to wander around and take photos to reflect the life there. So, I went aimlessly and looking for something to shoot. Then, we were told to select five photos to describe the life at Bukit Bintang area. That was the most difficult part. From the exercise, I have learnt a few lessons in photo storytelling.
In the last few days, I have been posting more than a dozen photo series on my Facebook. I got a few likes but not much comments that I can learn to improve my photography. No matter what, I shall continue to do these series. Maybe later, I can convert them into a Photobook.
Here is one photo that tells the story of the quality time of a mother and her two sons by a canal passing through The Hague in Holland.
