MY PHOTOGRAPHY IN 2020

I was very active in exploring the world of photography in 2019. Our Putrajaya Photowalk- an online Facebook group was very active in sharing and commenting on photos being shared among members. With the assistance of other group members, I managed to organise a photo talk. Over the last six months, I organised and attended photo walks and also attended photo exhibitions. Phewww.What a great year. My gratitude and thanks to Allah and fellow group members for their kind assistance.

Looking back to 2019, I have posted 91 times. For this year,I plan to post not more than once a week or the least twice a month. This year I plan to focus more on my learning to improve my photography-quality over quantity. Last year, I tried to do too many things and lacking in focus. As they say in photography, without being in focus, things get blur.

My focus will be to improve the quality and diversities of my landscape, urban and nature photography. At the same time, I will spend more time to curate and print my photos of Bachok and Putrajaya-two areas that I fell in love with.

Another project I love to explore is the Black & White Photography as shown below. This shot was taken a few years ago at Pantai Senok, Bachok.

World Photography Week often features various events, exhibitions, and social media activities, all aimed at celebrating and promoting photography. The 2024 theme for World Photography Day is "An Entire Day," encouraging photographers to capture the myriad of activities and moments that occur around the world in a single day. Throughout the week, photography enthusiasts are invited to share their work on social media using the hashtag #WPD24 to have their photos potentially featured on platforms like those of the Royal Photographic Society. This celebration provides an opportunity for photographers of all levels to showcase their work, learn from others, and appreciate the rich ...
