There are many beautiful things and moments we encounter in our everyday lives but we seem not to notice them; and if we ever see them, we tend to ignore them because we are in a hurry to do something or to go somewhere that we have planned earlier. If you live long enough, you will know that life is not what you planned but what has been planned for you. According to a British comedian, if you want to make God laughs, go and tell Him your plan!
As an example, as I was at the train platform, I saw a young lady came to assist a blind lady to board the train. To me, the random act of kindness is a beautiful human gesture. It happened so fast that I could not snap it with my camera. Many good things and moments happen in our everyday lives. we just need to stop and devour the moments.
The photo above showed a barista was making coffee for me at Starbucks Reserve in KL. I was sitting there watching and listening to him about coffee making. Watching him practising his art of making coffee with passion was very entertaining. Just look at the facial expressions of both baristas.
What is so great about a photo of three persons cycling together? It was the way I captured them in LAYERS with their shadows. By the ways, they do not wear helmets-meaning they are not regular riders but just hired the bikes and rode for fun. I love the explore new areas on two wheels.
Every time I go home(balik kampung) to Pondok Beris, Bachok I will be going for a morning walk at Pantai Irama, Bachok. As I walk I also take photos. The above photo shown is at Kuala Sungai Bachok-a small river than runs to the sea after heavy rain. The view was ordinary, but when I saw a man walking alone into the frame of my photo,I just snapped it. The beach, the river and the man got connected to tell a story of tranquillity.
After my lunch at the RASA Alamanda, I walked downstairs to see the beautiful clouds hovering above the a few boring blocks of government offices in Putrajaya. But as I was walking slowly with full stomach, my eyes caught the beautiful patterns on the floors next to the pool of fountains. Instead, I looked up for beauty, I looked down and saw the beautiful patterns that most people just walk on them without any feelings of affection and appreciation. We tend to look far to more beautiful things and yet many are sitting next us.We have long sighted view.Similarly,we neglected our neighbours but we are more friends with those who live far away from us. Such is life.
