IMPACTS OF SHADOWS

Shadow has many meanings. It depends on what comes after it. Shadow Cabinet is more serious than Shadow Play of Wayang Kult.Shadowy figures can be very dangerous. As for this discussion,I stick to its literal meaning.Literally, its is the black image created when the source of light is blocked fully or partially by an object. The shapes and tonality vary depending on the light, objects and environment.

In the above photo as shown,I saw the shadows under the bridge and also on the open grass field in the foreground. To me,the shadows gave character to the bridge and told us more about the place. At the same time, the negative space become positive.

Below is a shot I took motr than 5 years ago when I was cycling using my mountain bike at FRIM.The long shadows added depth and filled the boring space in front of the riders.

This is my favourite location at Nu Sentral to take photosThe roof design is made of transparent glass that let light penetrate to the floor creating a beautiful shadows of patterns.

Below are two photos from Putrajaya Wetland. As the sunrises,it creates shadows on the road lined with palms and trees.Being there on the ground and watching the soft colours enbracing the trees, the lake and the ground are like swimming in the beuaty of morning delight. It the moments of joy.

10th YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF ADIB NOH PHOTOGRAPHY BLOG

Here is a selection of my photos taken over the ten years with my Fujifilm camera, Smartphones (Samsung/apple) and Lumix LX5. How do I select 40 photos as shown here from more than 10,000 photos taken and uploaded? I just selected at random whatever photos I like to cover various genres of photography. May be I add ten more later.
