Cycling Photos in Holland

On the invitation of my late friend Guus Libernstein,I packed and took a flight to Amsterdam in the last week of April,2012
.From the Schipol Airport,I took a beautiful double decker train to Leiden. There began my five-day journey in Leiden,Keukenhof and Amsterdam.Below is a photo taken by Guus of his wife and me at a tulip field on the way to Keukenhof.

I have taken a few hundreds of photos, but here let me share two beuatiful tulips that I really like!

Guus and Marjolein were very kind to take me cycling around Leuden, the dykes and the sand dunes. In Amsterdam,I joined a bike hire group to roam the city for three hours. How I wish I have a week to cycle in Amsterdam and visit the nooks and the corners.

In Amsterdam and Holland in general, you can see more people cycling than driving or on their motor-cycles.More than three decades ago,The Dutch people had bad experience with cars and feul price. They made that wise choice, and with good leadership and management, they became world leaders in city cycling. This also had attracted the world tourists to visit Holland.

Sadly,I was more interested in cycling than photography. So,I managed to get few photos about people cycling in Holland. Now,a group of us are making plan to go cycling in Holland next year. With better cameras and better skills and more passion this time,I plan to snap a few hundreds of people cycling in Holland comes May,2017.InsyaAllah.
