IPOH RAILWAY STATION

I was armed to the teeth to do a photowalk aound Ipoh Railway Station(IRS) after completing a training session at Tower Regency Hotel. From the photo,IRS looks like a grand building from the colonial era.Looking very elegant also is the City Hall of Ipoh opposite the road.As soon as my course ended at about 6pm,I was taken by a friend to the station early because I told him I need two hours to snoop around, take photos and enjoy my food at The Kafe at the station.

After walking around for 15 minutes, immediatly I knew that the picture in my dream has crashed to pieces. What I saw a great disappointment for such once a great railway station. It looks like an abondoned railway station,no cafe/restaurant and chaostic.I feel ashamed that such an architecture master piece and once a famous public utility building was let to rot right in the city of Ipoh!

I hope someone in Ipoh will do something about it.

KB WALK

I planned to have four days of Photowalking around Kota Bharu #KBWalk ,but due to unplanned family errands which I love doing for my  mother and son,I only managed to have two days with only less than 4 hours.Herewith I shared two photos taken behind Pejabat PAS. To do justice to the town,I need at least 7 full days and nights to capture the history  and culture of the place. My first attempt had revealed a lot more for me to explore, discover and capture.Another missing dimension I need to have with me before I embark on KBWalk is the history of Kota Bharu. It has to be another time..May be after Eidil Fitri.

10th YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF ADIB NOH PHOTOGRAPHY BLOG

Here is a selection of my photos taken over the ten years with my Fujifilm camera, Smartphones (Samsung/apple) and Lumix LX5. How do I select 40 photos as shown here from more than 10,000 photos taken and uploaded? I just selected at random whatever photos I like to cover various genres of photography. May be I add ten more later.
