BUILDING GEOMETRY AND SYMMETRY




Just look at any building,you shall see a geometrical shape some where-a circle, a square,a rectangle and many outher curves and conic structure.I am not qualified to comment from architectural perspectives but as a structural engineer,I prefer more of the fimilar shapes.It would be make my life easier when I had to calculate stress/strain,bending moments and shear forces,torsional effects and stability.




The iconic little minaret is very simple and yet beautiful.Simplicity is of the contributing factors.
The architect placed it all over the roof structures of every block at this hotel.
