Shadows

One of the reasons I like this location to shoot street photography is the presence of the shadows on the floor. The shadows form their own art of works depending on the time of the day and the sun brightness. When the shadows and the light fall on the people faces and their dresses, they look different and at time weird looking.Light is a very important element in the photo.Without the light,we see nothing.

When no one is going down the escalator,I will wait patiently for the people to come up.As soon as they are arriving on my floor where I was standing,I just snap their photos so that they do not have enought time react.I was trying to get natural look on their faces as shown below.

At times,I follow my subject all the way up or down the escalators. From this exercise,I learnt that planning ,hard work and patience are keys to successful shots.Good luck also plays its own card.

Below are two shots when no one was around..

10th YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF ADIB NOH PHOTOGRAPHY BLOG

Here is a selection of my photos taken over the ten years with my Fujifilm camera, Smartphones (Samsung/apple) and Lumix LX5. How do I select 40 photos as shown here from more than 10,000 photos taken and uploaded? I just selected at random whatever photos I like to cover various genres of photography. May be I add ten more later.
