Interesting or Beautiful Photo?

REVIEW OF MY PHOTO BY AI:

Yes, this photo is definitely interesting, and in its own way, it can also be considered beautiful, but not in the conventional sense of scenic landscapes or classical architecture. Here’s why:

Why It’s Interesting

1. Urban Energy – The photo captures the pulse of city life: shops, signboards, and people moving in different directions. It tells a story of modern daily routines.

2. Play of Light and Shadow – The crisscrossing shadows on the pavement from the glass canopy above create dynamic lines that lead the eye through the frame, adding drama and rhythm.

3. Candid Human Element – The man walking on the left with a drink in his hand and people in the background give the image authenticity, as if freezing a slice of everyday city life.

4. Colors & Textures – Bright signage (7-Eleven, Toast Maker, etc.) contrasts against the darker reflections on glass walls, making the photo vibrant and layered.

Why It Can Be Considered Beautiful

1. Geometric Composition – The strong diagonals of the glass roof and floor shadows create a structured, almost architectural beauty.

2. Street Photography Aesthetic – Beauty here lies in the rawness: the unposed, ordinary moments elevated into something visually compelling.

3. Contrast & Tonality – The high contrast editing style adds intensity, transforming what might be a simple mall walkway into something striking and cinematic.

So, this photo is interesting because of the story it tells and beautiful because of how it frames and elevates the ordinary into art.

KB WALK

I planned to have four days of Photowalking around Kota Bharu #KBWalk ,but due to unplanned family errands which I love doing for my  mother and son,I only managed to have two days with only less than 4 hours.Herewith I shared two photos taken behind Pejabat PAS. To do justice to the town,I need at least 7 full days and nights to capture the history  and culture of the place. My first attempt had revealed a lot more for me to explore, discover and capture.Another missing dimension I need to have with me before I embark on KBWalk is the history of Kota Bharu. It has to be another time..May be after Eidil Fitri.

10th YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF ADIB NOH PHOTOGRAPHY BLOG

Here is a selection of my photos taken over the ten years with my Fujifilm camera, Smartphones (Samsung/apple) and Lumix LX5. How do I select 40 photos as shown here from more than 10,000 photos taken and uploaded? I just selected at random whatever photos I like to cover various genres of photography. May be I add ten more later.
