ONE MONTH WITH IPHONE14PROMAX

MRT Train Commuters

I was very happy using Galaxy Note(3/5/10) for the last decade. My photos are good enough for posting on my Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, not to mention that I used the photos in my first book-The Joy of Cycling in Putrajaya.

Why did I change to iPhone? Looking back 40 years ago, my first personal computer was Apple IIe. My PC is a Mac Pro. In the last two years, I observed Apple has done a lot to make iPhone a great smartphone with a few fantastic camera features. The last straw that broke the came back was the special features in photography, video and AR. According to Mac Fraternity, I had moved to The Dark Side.  Now I am returning home to where my heart is..

My genres of interest are street photography, urban photography and landscape photography. I use both Note10Lite and Fujifilm XT20 to shoot photos. But from now, after getting to know iPhone14ProMax for the last month, I will be using more smartphone to shoot street and urban photography. This decision is also associated with my new obsession with doing photowalk. It is more than photography and walking but it extends to my intellectual and spiritual pursuits as well. iPhone14ProMax will fit well with me walking to search for more personal discoveries.

World Photography Week often features various events, exhibitions, and social media activities, all aimed at celebrating and promoting photography. The 2024 theme for World Photography Day is "An Entire Day," encouraging photographers to capture the myriad of activities and moments that occur around the world in a single day.
