MOBILE PHOTOGRAPHY 15.0

Mobile Photography 1.0 was written on 7th June 2016. Here is my blogging #15 on this subject matter. Every three months, I select about a dozen photos and share in this series. I was informed that more than 90% of the photos taken and shared online were taken by smartphones. Every year, cameras in smartphones are getting better and better. I have given away my compact camera to my son. In its place, I use smartphones with better camera features. For the last seven years, I have been using Note3, Note5 and Note10Lite from Samsung Galaxy. There were very good for ordinary amateur photographers like me. But iPhone14 Pro Max is another kettle of fish that I just could not resist. So, I jumped ship from Android to IOS on 7th January 2023. It fits well with my Mac Pro laptop . From this year onwards, I will focus more on taking photos using iPhone14 Pro Max than using FujifilmXT20. I am planning a few photo projects using both cameras. No camera fits all situations. P ersonally, I love...

Looking back twenty years ago, I noticed that I still keep shooting what I love- the trees, the flowers, the cakes and the green environment. The only change is the camera brand from Olympus to Nikon to Lumix to Canon to Fujifilm. Now, I am using more and more smartphones to shoot photos.

Old Photos

My mother and me on the far right. This photo is more than 60 yo. Where are your priceless old photos that money cannot buy? Most of them got stuck and hidden in the albums and stored away. I had to turn my bedroom upside down looking for a dozen of them. By the way, it is worth taking the time and effort to get these old photos. On checking the photos got damaged and deteriorated in shape and quality. My father and me when I was three years old~1955 What did I do with old printed photos? I can scan and reprint them and also make photo books. The Tunku-First Prime Minister of Malaysia. I am on the far right. Tunku came to visit his birth place after we did some renovation work to the Istana. ~1982 I have selected the above three to be repaired and restored by a photo expert. After that, I want to print them on canvas and frame them so that I can hang them in my house..
