SCOTT KELBY PHOTOWALK 2022

Briefing before the Photowalk

I have been attending Scott Kelby since 2015. It was led by Raja Indera Putra. He never fails to meet my expectation as a group photowalk leader. Keep it up, Ripi! In the photo above, he was giving a briefing of the walk, explained the route and gave some guidance. Every photo I shared has my own reason. You can read at the caption below the photo.

Colours attacted me to stop and got my friend to take photo of me. Many facades of commercial buildings are painted with great design and colours. These vibrant colours attract customers.

The route chosen is a familar ground for most of us who loves to do street photography. Why did I join the photowalk which I could have done alone at my own time? It is the companionship of like minded people to walk together and as well as having great conversations while walking or eating at pitstops and restaurant where we eat and drink together. At the same time, I am gathering photos and experience of photowalk because I plan to write about the Joy of Photowalk-Any Where.

People taking a rest after a long walk and just sit to watch the world goes by.

I am planning to write a book or zine about the joy of photowalking. Photowalking is a global phenomena and most photography lovers in most cities all of the world do their group photowalk. It is a way of getting together and an opportunity to share knowledge and experience on photography.  With more than half of the world population have smartphones, they take and share billions of photos daily.

KB WALK

I planned to have four days of Photowalking around Kota Bharu #KBWalk ,but due to unplanned family errands which I love doing for my  mother and son,I only managed to have two days with only less than 4 hours.Herewith I shared two photos taken behind Pejabat PAS. To do justice to the town,I need at least 7 full days and nights to capture the history  and culture of the place. My first attempt had revealed a lot more for me to explore, discover and capture.Another missing dimension I need to have with me before I embark on KBWalk is the history of Kota Bharu. It has to be another time..May be after Eidil Fitri.

COMPARISON BETWEEN MY IPHONE 14 ProMax VS FUJIFILM XT20

No camera is suitable for every occasion. Here is a simple comparison. Both have their own strengths and weaknesses, and I love both. DXOMARK cites strengths like vivid color, wide dynamic range, sharp detail, and low noise; potential drawbacks include clipping highlights and noise indoors  . Fujifilm X-T20 Features a...
