NEXT IS PHOTOGRAPHY ZINE?

"A zine is most commonly a small-circulation of self-published work. It could be about many different topics: photography, illustration, design, etc…Usually zines are the product of a small group or individual people, and the primary intent is exposure rather than profit.

A photography zine, for example, is a tool that photographers can use to tell a visual story, to inform an audience about a specific topic or issue, to showcase and advertise a new idea or simply create a preview of an ongoing project. Zines were originally called fanzines, alluding to the fans who made them. Later on, Fanzine was just shortened to zine." - Jenna Black

I discovered zines at the end of 2020 when I was coaching artists to become entrepreneurs. Two years ago, I started making photobooks using my photos. The books are quite expensive. I just do it for my own records.

Currently, to share my photos, I blog and share on my Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. All are virtual and online. Some how I got the feeling that I wanted my photos in prints to share as well as to sell. Photography Zine may be my alternative because my photos portfolio is not good enough for me to print a book on photography.

Let me work on it.

KB WALK

I planned to have four days of Photowalking around Kota Bharu #KBWalk ,but due to unplanned family errands which I love doing for my  mother and son,I only managed to have two days with only less than 4 hours.Herewith I shared two photos taken behind Pejabat PAS. To do justice to the town,I need at least 7 full days and nights to capture the history  and culture of the place. My first attempt had revealed a lot more for me to explore, discover and capture.Another missing dimension I need to have with me before I embark on KBWalk is the history of Kota Bharu. It has to be another time..May be after Eidil Fitri.

10th YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF ADIB NOH PHOTOGRAPHY BLOG

Here is a selection of my photos taken over the ten years with my Fujifilm camera, Smartphones (Samsung/apple) and Lumix LX5. How do I select 40 photos as shown here from more than 10,000 photos taken and uploaded? I just selected at random whatever photos I like to cover various genres of photography. May be I add ten more later.
