B&W URBAN LIFE

SOLAT AT MASJID SULTAN MIZAN, PUTRAJAYA I love a few genres in photography buy for the year 2019,I shall focus more on Urban Photography. The pun is intended. I do love landscape photography but I need to travel and walk more. That is a tall order for a senior citizen with a few joints pain. The best is making use of the time available, the tools I have and skills that I can muster to produce better quality photos that I did in the last decade. Herewith I am sharing a dozen photos that I converted from colour to B&W depicting the various aspects of urban life. BRIDGES OF PUTRAJAYA-#2

Putrajaya has at least ten bridges. I cycled on all of them. The views can be fantastic depending on where you are. Here are a few shots of some of the bridges.

FAMILY VISIT TO TAMAN WETLAND PUTRAJAYA

Putrajaya Wetlands is a man-made wetland right in the City of Putrajaya. Walking, running and cycling is a great joy to many including myself.  I came to know this place about ten years ago and never got bored about. I love fresh air, greens and water. Two days ago, I invited my son to take his sons to join my morning walk at Putrajaya Central Wetlands. The kids really had a great time watching pelican, swans and ducks swimming in the lake. I also took them off roads to walk under the bridge and see the real wetland. Below are a few photos I took to share with you. Instead of taking your children to shopping complexes every weekend, may I suggest to young parents to take your kids outdoors-to see and engage with nature? To make more fun, have a picnic and take photos.

TRAVEL PHOTOGRAPHY-MALACCA

Attended the wedding my friend's son in Semabok, Melaka. The photo shows my SDARA members. A View from My Hotel Room-The flat rooftop was designed like a maze! I used it as the interesting foreground of my photo of the skyline. This colourful ceiling at the hotel lobby is very unique. I love it! A lone cyclist going some where passing in front of the hotel. I am using the hotel landscape to make a boring shot looks better. As I was passing Masjid Al Azim, Melaka. The geometry and patterns and height of these two building caught my attention. Standing alone, I was thinking how to compose such a massive structure. Suddenly, I saw a motorcycle appeared around the corner. I just aimed and shot! On the way back to the hotel, I saw this cool Ducati motorbike. Immediately it reminds me of my friend Din who loves to ride this machine to Thailand, Cambodia and Laos. I snapped the photo and posted it to my Facebook and tagged h...

BLUE SKY DAYS #02

Since Sunday 13/1/2019, I observed sunny blue sky around Bangi, Putrajaya and Shah Alam. Seeing blue skies makes me happy as well as I could shoot more beautiful sceneries and objects. Here are a few shots I love to share.
