REFLECTION ON MY PHOTOGRAPHY:2012-2017-Take Two

MY FIRST GRAND DAUGHTER

From my Flickr account,I still shoot photo using compact camera -Kodak 3500, Panasonic FX8 and Lumix LX5.Most photos taken during 2012-2013 were taken using Lumix LX5 even though I had my DSLR 400D.Lumix LX5 my The Camera until it died due to old age together with my Canon400D. By the Grace of Allah,I received a gift of Fujifilm X-T1 from a kind friend. That is another story.

Why did I buy Lumix LX5? It was due to my active cycling-on weekends and sometimes at night. We roamed the nooks and corners of Putrajaya and I had to buy a new camera in order to capture so many beautiful spots along my cycling paths.

Below are a few photos taken along my cycling paths.During that period, cycling is my prime activity and photography was just snapshots for my memory.Nowadays, it is the other way around- going to take photos on my bicycles. As they say,the end justify the means. And it is also correct the means justify the end. Just choose which one you like!

Below is my obssesion then to take photos of my noctornal activities-cycling at night.Lumix LX5 did a very good job taking photos in low light conditions.

With Lumix LX,I have a set menu to select for different genres of photogrphy. As a novice and lazy to learn part time amateur photographer,I use Lumix LX for any difficult task like taking photos of sunset as shown below.

From nice photos taken using Lumix LX5,my interest in photography grows wider and deeper. In March,2014 I discovered Fujifilm X-T1. That is another story
