URBAN PHOTOGRAPHY 2.0

Urban photography can apply to any image that is taken within the confines of a built-up area. That’s particularly true where the image focuses on architecture, the streets, or the interaction between people and their environment. ‘In my London-based images, I like to try and create engaging images of the urban landscape, which border on the abstract,’ says Mark. ‘Over the years I’ve learned to be on the lookout for clean lines, symmetry and minimal compositions, and especially modern architecture with plenty of glass for reflections and light. The ultimate aim is that some of your final images will keep your audience engaged as they have to look at them more than once to figure out exactly what they’re looking at.’-Mark Cornick Herewith I am sharing a few photos about the lifestyle of the people and the cities they live in. THE ART OF SEEING 4.0

16TH JUNE,2014 WAS A DATE TO REMEMBER WHEN I ATTENDED A MASTER CLASS ON PHOTOGRAPHY BY WORLD FAMOUS BRITISH MUSLIM PHOTOGRAPHER PETER SANDERS. Since that day, I open my eyes, mind and heart to see and apply what I had learnt from the Guru of The Art of Seeing. In any art, it takes time to learn and longer to master. The knowledge is in doing. As mentioned by Confucius more than 2500 years ago, the essence of knowledge is not having it but to apply it. Most projects fail during the execution phase. And I have many failures in the course to acquire the art of seeing. Below are a few photos I selected to share with you in my journey to learn The Art of Seeing. Each photo has its own art as I see it.
