AEONS - RETAIL GIANT?


Remember Jaya  Jusco in Taman Maluri, KL? It was the Jusco HQ some 20 years ago.I lived nearby and always enjoyed shopping there.Now, under the new corporate entity, Jusco becomes AEONS-bigger and better.I hope to see more Malaysian corporate giants going into retail business so that more local SMEs can tag along in the supply chain.


 A few days ago, my son took me to visit AEONS KOTA BHARU.I had a pleasant surprise looking at the size and the contents of AEONS shopping complex.It is a great competitor to TESCO and KB MALL.It is as good as those in Klang Valley and much better than Alamanda in Putrajaya.Kelantan people don't need to come to KL for shopping.










To most housewives, AEONS  is a great supermarket.To me,as a business owner and consultant,AEONS is more than that.It is also in property business- renting spaces to others to sell their products to complement their supermarket business.Not only selling goods but food and entertainment as well.AEONS collects money everyday and every month! No money to spend?AEONS will give you a Credit Card.
