DO YOU HAVE BEAUTIFUL EYES?

They say beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. As all of us have different eyes, we see the beauty in things from our own perspectives. As a photographer, it demands more than just seeing things. Composing is a  science and as well as an art, but I don't know in what proportions. What is so beautiful of a coconut tree sticking like a sore thumb by the seaside? But here, in the above photo, you can see a relationship between three elements - the tall coconut tree, the grey boring concrete British Pillar-Box and the roaring South China Sea.

It has a story to tell-may be ugly, beautiful or just ordinary. It depends on who tells the story. By the way, the photographer has his own story when he took this photo.

Looking at the above blue photo, many persons will see different beauty-in colours, the coconut tree standing alone against the gusty monsoon winds etc. To me, all the above are right but what the photo meant to me is the beauty of simplicity.

A typical Malaysian breakfast. The black local brew is the subject. The rest is the predicate.

In the above and below photos, what attracted me is the beauty of colours and shapes. One is designed and constructed by man and the other is By Almighty God.

The above is a beautifully designed Info Centre right in front of the PM Office in Putrajaya. What made it more beautiful is the lady with an umbrella was walking nearby. It depends on you. If you are looking at this photo from a landscape perspective, the subject is the info Centre. On the other hand, if you see it as street photography, it is the persons crossing the road on a hot day.

Below is another beauty with its own story. Its location is about 500km away tucked in the remote village called Pantai Senok. It is a new place for a picnic because some 15 years ago, someone planted a few hundreds of casuarina trees by this beach. Where is the beauty?

KB WALK

I planned to have four days of Photowalking around Kota Bharu #KBWalk ,but due to unplanned family errands which I love doing for my  mother and son,I only managed to have two days with only less than 4 hours.Herewith I shared two photos taken behind Pejabat PAS. To do justice to the town,I need at least 7 full days and nights to capture the history  and culture of the place. My first attempt had revealed a lot more for me to explore, discover and capture.Another missing dimension I need to have with me before I embark on KBWalk is the history of Kota Bharu. It has to be another time..May be after Eidil Fitri.

COMPARISON BETWEEN MY IPHONE 14 ProMax VS FUJIFILM XT20

No camera is suitable for every occasion. Here is a simple comparison. Both have their own strengths and weaknesses, and I love both. When I go photowalking with friends, I use more smartphones than the Fujifilm XT20. FUJIFILM XT20 iPhone 14 Pro Max (Smartphone) vs Fujifilm X-T20 (Mirrorless) – Image Quality Breakdown IPHONE 14 PRO MAX 1.
