They say beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. As all of us have different eyes, we see the beauty in things from our own perspectives. As a photographer, it demands more than just seeing things. Composing is a science and as well as an art, but I don't know in what proportions. What is so beautiful of a coconut tree sticking like a sore thumb by the seaside? But here, in the above photo, you can see a relationship between three elements - the tall coconut tree, the grey boring concrete British Pillar-Box and the roaring South China Sea. It has a story to tell-may be ugly, beautiful or just ordinary. It depends on who tells the story. By the way, the photographer has his own story when he took this photo. \ Looking at the above blue photo, many persons will see different beauty-in colours, the coconut tree standing alone against the gusty monsoon winds etc. To me, all the above are right but what the photo meant to me is the beauty of simplicity.
