Fujifilm X-T1 came into my life on 12/3/2014. Two weeks earlier my Canon 400D died a natural death.It served me well since December,2006.This is the beginning of my NEW World of Photography.To me then , DSLR cameras only have two big brands-Canon aand Nikon.Ignorance is a bliss.It saved me a lot of money.

Now,it is almost four years. My first two years was learning to shoot photo with 20% knowledge about my camera.Later,my friends taught me to make full use of the features in the camera. Some how I was a very slow learner on the technical side but I learnt faster on the photography side.Now I can say that I know 80% of what my X-T1 can do, but doing it is another story. I am in no hurry-just taking it a week at a time. As an amteur photographer,I seek more fun and joy in taking photos than to be a great photographer or get best shots. The journey is the destination!

How did t I learn o use Fujifilm X-T1?
This is a long story for me.Fujifilm made good camera but I dare to say lousy manual.Why not get a good photographer to write the Manual and do A Video for beginners?It baffled me until today.It took me more than a year to get a seat to attend talk on how to use Fujifilm X series organised by Fujifilm Malaysia.How about learning from friends? Only a few knows how to teach and most of them don't have time for me! Two years ago,a friend told me to learn from Youtube.Voila! The good people there are sharing knowledge with poor mortals like me. Thank God.Now,I am better off than I was four years ago.
What did I shoot with my X-T1? Anything and everything I like. However,when it comes to wedding function,I use only my Note5 smartphone.Some, I still have problem to shoot photos at wedding with my X-T1.
About two years ago,a friend lent me his Fujifilm X100T.I use it mainly when I travel and go for street photography. Below are some snapshots using X100T.Another great camera for me explore further the world of street photography.

My only regret for taking photography as a hobby is that I should have done in 30 years earlier so that I could capture my boys growing up and keep great family memories especially my family trips overseas.Realising that mistake,I am taking photos of my grand children, not to mention my weekend outing with family and friends.
