MINIMALIST LANDSCAPE

Minimalist Landscape is a new genre to me but I have done a general minimalist shot before. So here I am exploring new territory like the one shown above-The Dunes on the northern coast of Leiden in Holland in April,2012.As I understood ,it is about distilling a detailed scene into just a few elements-making it simple and yet beautiful.

It is very easy to make things complicated, but it takes complex processes and actions to make things simple.Simplicity has its own beauty! Here is a beach with a person at the shore looking towards the sea..

Below is a very special photo that I took from a moving plane.I saw the shadow of the plane I was travelling! Here,we have three elements-the blue sky,the white clouds and the image of the plane imbedded inside the clouds. But sadly, this photo is not a landscape. Why?It is the photo of the sky.

The top and the bottom photos are ordinary shots of similar lines and few colours. The less the number of  elements or the colours, the better.IMHO,they are minimalist landscape.

This last photo is the urban minimalist landscape-the main subject is the lined empty floor.Which is the most beautiful of them all?You decide.I am just a photographer.

KB WALK

I planned to have four days of Photowalking around Kota Bharu #KBWalk ,but due to unplanned family errands which I love doing for my  mother and son,I only managed to have two days with only less than 4 hours.Herewith I shared two photos taken behind Pejabat PAS. To do justice to the town,I need at least 7 full days and nights to capture the history  and culture of the place. My first attempt had revealed a lot more for me to explore, discover and capture.Another missing dimension I need to have with me before I embark on KBWalk is the history of Kota Bharu. It has to be another time..May be after Eidil Fitri.

10th YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF ADIB NOH PHOTOGRAPHY BLOG

Here is a selection of my photos taken over the ten years with my Fujifilm camera, Smartphones (Samsung/apple) and Lumix LX5. How do I select 40 photos as shown here from more than 10,000 photos taken and uploaded? I just selected at random whatever photos I like to cover various genres of photography. May be I add ten more later.
