COMPOSITION,LIGHTING AND MOMENT

HIGHWAY & ENVIRONMENT

Highways are just like arteries that keep people and goods flow from one place to another-24/7. They connect business centres in the city as well as connecting inter-city business. The highways pass through congested areas in the cities as well as the rural areas.  Every day, millions of cars moving in and out of the cities. Traffic jams are everyday affairs. The more we build highways, the cars keep filling there. Train travels and city bus service are getting more popular. At the moment, I see better views from the highways than railway tracks. I love to see beautiful views as I drive from city to city passing through hills and valleys.  As an amateur photographer, I have great fun and joy taking photos on the roads.

ESCALATORS

As an amateur photographer, I love to take photos at or on escalators. Why? Many of them are beautifully designed. At the same time, you can take photos of colourful characters while they have the ride-up and down. Nice shadows and human interactions. Nice patterns and lightings.

CITY STREET CORNERS

PARIS City street corners are strategic locations for business. It has visibility to more people from two or more streets. If you need to put more tables, you have double the space compared normal shop on a particular street. AMOORFORT UTRECHT BRICKFIELDS KUALA BESUT From photography perspectives,I can take the photo of at least two roads. This gives depth and more varied background.

SEEING RED AT TRAIN STATIONS

Red is no ordinary colour. It stands out very well in crowded places like a railway station. As an amateur photographer, my eyes had learnt to be sensitive to colours.I will easily notice something like a person wearing red at the tops or at the bottoms. Below are few examples that I found very interesting to make my photos more cheerful. Red always very loud and bright!

AS THE SUN GOES DOWN...

Just look at the western horizon when the sun is on the way to cross down the horizon, and then you shall see something colourful beyond your own imagination. This one was captured by me using a mobile phone because I was a passenger in a moving car somewhere near Dengkil,Selangor.

URBAN PHOTOGRAPHY 1.0

This is Bukit Bintang area-the part of the city that never sleeps. It has a colourful history of being the red light district of Kuala Lumpur. Lot 10, Pavilion and the new MRT Station changed the place to a world-class shopping centre. However, the oldest world profession remains somewhere hidden in better premises. The above and below photos tell the story of people at different locations in the city. To be relevant, the city needs to grow and renew herself. The above is the outcome of River of Life Project to improve the old and historical part of Kuala Lumpur. Below is the construction work going on even at night in Putrajaya.I hope there will no more big office buildings in Putrajaya. The city is not only for commerce but for the people to live a better life. WE NEED MORE GREEN CITIES FOR US TO LIVE AND ENJOY OUR LIVES.

AS I SEE IT

To me, this scene is something worth capturing. It means something that I am very concerned with.We are talking more with our fingers than with our mouths. Real conversations are fading away. Below is something that the BEAUTIFUL scene is moving away from me. I see and I shoot with whatever in my hands. This is impromptu shot that no one can plan. Below is something that I planned to shoot whoever passes through my selected frame. I chose the location and wait. This is a rare moment to see a group of young adults sitting down and having a conversation. Lady luck was on my side to capture this unique moment and location.Alhamdulillah. RED IS VERY VISIBLE FROM ANYWHERE. We may be sitting next to each other, but we will see different things. Why? The eyes only capture the visual image but the mind and the heart get the meaning.
