Penang Ambiance

Y esterday,my friend took me for lunch at Gamuda Walks. He chose a restaurant selling delicacies from Penang.as I sagt down,I immediately ordered my old time favourite -Peanag Ckar Kway Tiaw.(Friend noodles with prawns etc).It was very Penang and I love it. What I love more about this restaurant is the wall decorations. It has a few posters of famour murals that I personally seen and took photos. These wall decors created the Penang feeling about the place.Well done and I shall come again. Many restaurant owners donot understand that it is not the good food and good service are the only pre-requistes of good restaurant ,but what is more important is the customer's personal experience having good meals at your restaurant.

Note5 For Cycling

From the above photos taken during our Floria 2016 ride yesterday,I think Galaxy Note5 is good enough to take photos of my cycling.

Blue Hour at Pantai Irama,Bachok

Every time I go back to my kampung,I must go to Pantai Irama to see the beauty of the beach.During last week visit,I was lucky to see and capture the blue sky  morning and managed to get an interesting photo of a fisherman throwing his net to catch fish. All these photos were taken using my smart phone camera Samsung Galaxy Note5 . Below is the view from Kuala Bachok.Sungai Bachok is lamost dry due to lack of rainfall.

KB WALK

I planned to have four days of Photowalking around Kota Bharu #KBWalk ,but due to unplanned family errands which I love doing for my  mother and son,I only managed to have two days with only less than 4 hours.Herewith I shared two photos taken behind Pejabat PAS. To do justice to the town,I need at least 7 full days and nights to capture the history  and culture of the place. My first attempt had revealed a lot more for me to explore, discover and capture.Another missing dimension I need to have with me before I embark on KBWalk is the history of Kota Bharu. It has to be another time..May be after Eidil Fitri.

Riding hourses

It is heartening to see that we still ride horses even though we live on borrowed money and donations.

The Beauty and The Messy

These two photos were taken in Bandar Baru Bangi yesterday Thursday 19.5.2016.It was about magrib time when the sun was going under the horizon. How beautiful the view was..It was taken just from the porch of my house. The above was the messy part of Bandar Baru Bangi,Selangor.Just compare how we humans managed to make fools of ourselves and make a living environment so ugly and dirty and compare that with the beautiful and colouful sky Allah created for us to see.I am ashamed because we were given the minds and hearts to know what is right and what is wrong and yet we failed misera bly. I am using photography to create the awareness and inspire people to act and safe guard their own living environment. If we fail, then we deserve to get the bad and unhealthy living conditions.

Photography in Ramadan

Ramadan, the fasting month for muslims is only about two weeks away.As a photographer, the holy month has a lot of opportunities to take photos at the bazaar, the mosques and special events. Here is one of the many photos I took at Masjid Tuanku Sultan Mizan.

SNOOPING AROUND AT IOI CITY MALL

IOI CITY MALL IS THE SHOPPING CENTRE FOR FOLKS AROUND PUTRAJAYA,BANGI AND KAJANG.

Do you read?

Many of us are now avid readers but we now read different way and not necessarily books. Here above is a tourist reading a print map of KL.I think I read maps in print better than online especially on small screen.

WAITING TAKES TIME

Unless you are a king or a prime minster, you are most likely to wait for someone or something.Waiting is bloody boring.I always carry a book to read but now most of us keep ourselves busy with Facebook,Twitter and Whatsapp. Below is a great example where no body is talking to anybody next to them. They prefer to keep their eyes busy reading and the fingers typing.such is our life in the high-tech era.. Being alone is cary when the place where are waiting for train or bus.I prefer to walk around whenever I am alone. LAST BUT NOT LEAST NEVER EVER LET YOUR MOTHER OR GRANDMA WAITS FOR YOU.CALL HER AT LEAST TWICE A MONTH AND VISIT HER AT LEAST ONCE A MONTH. Most of us have made du'a asking something from Allah,God Almighty. When our prayers were not answered,we may lose our patience and hope.We can only ask as servant-it is up to The Master The Lord of The Worlds to grant what and when to whom He pleases. We don't have any right at all.We can...

KL Lake Garden

During our Brompton Picnic this morning,I have discovered  that Taman Tasik Perdana or fondly called by original name as KL Lake Garden is now a very beautiful place to walk,to cycle and to take photos. Here are two photos taken by using my Note5. Below is a wakaf where we had our group picnic. My next landscape photowalk will be here.InsyaAllah

Second Hop On KL Photowalk

This morning I have to ask the Information Desk where to board The Hop On and Hop Off Bus.The first time ride was two years ago but I remember where to eat for lunch after the photowalk.Memory is just like justice in the present day.It is very selective.I thank God that I remember more the good than the bad part in my life in the last 50 years! We stopped at three locations-Istana Negara,Masjid Negara and  Bintang Walk.I enjoyed the views, conversations and snapping photos around Masjid Negara and KTM HQ.

NOTE 5 PHOTOGRAPHY

At last,I managed to replace my problematic Note3 smart phone with Note5 yesterday. My Note3 has served me well for a few years but since it fell with me on 7/12/2014 it started to give me problems even though I had changed  the motherboard. The problem got more and more frequent and irritating that forced me to say enough is enough.Yesterday,it hanged on me a few times that made me go to get Note5.Good bye Note3. One of the good features that I chose Note5 is the camera. My compact camera Lumix LX5 is dying slowly. With Note5,I don't need to buy a new compact camera. The above photos are the first three shots I took at RASA,Alamanda.I just did a pOint & Shoot at whatever closed to me while I was having my dinner.More photos to come..

ARTISTIC PHOTOS

Remember the saying:This photo look so beautiful like a painting. On the other hand, another saying:This painting is perfect like a photo!Enjoy the paradox. As a photographer,I can see that some photos are artistic than others. Here,I am sharing a few photos I took that have some elements that made them look artistic from my view points. The graphical elements and colours made these photos more artistic.. Artictic or not,it lies on the sight and feeling the beholder..
