Blue Hour at Pantai Irama, Bachok

Sunny and blue Putrajaya

I go to Putrajaya a few times a week since 2009.Today is a special occasion when the city was brightly lighted by the sun,the blue sky hanging above and the floating fluffy white clouds. From my observation, this kind of weather happening is once or twice a year affairs.

The Escalators

Every time I go to KL Sentral, the KL transportation hub,I will go to New Sentral just to snap photos of this unique escalators that connect the first floor to the ground level where Jalan Brickfields is located. This road leads to Little India-a very colourful part of KL that reflects Indian culture. What makes me do this almost all the time?Well, just look at this ambiance-the light, shadows and the designs of the wall and the roof!Different times of the day is different, not to mention with many colourful people walking through this place.

Sit,watch and snap

I got 30 minutes to catch my next train. So,I chose a nice restaurant to eat my lunch before I went home.My criteria of choice are simple -good food and good location for me to snap photos.Walking around I found Coffee Planet. All photos taken us in B&W.So,here are my shots to capture the inside ambiance and the outside environments. Below is a shot taken a few weeks earlier when I stopped at Teh Tarik Place:

Natural lighting

Personally I don't like buildings cladded with a lot of glass. However,I like ingenious and creative  usage of glass to let sun light to enter the building and at the same time it makes me see what is outside from inside building that made feel enclosed with its walls and roofs. This tall window let me connect to the world outside. Free lighting from the sun through the roofs and makes the build environment feel and look more natural.

The lady was running to catch this train.Luckily she got it . This lady is a Masters student doing her research on air quality in underground railway station.

DRAGON BOATS ENCOUNTER AT PUTRAJAYA

JKR Lounge

When I arrived here for the meeting?immediately I saw a B&W image in my mind.I used Black Camera apps with my Note3 to capture this image. Just love it.. .

Sunsets in Bangi

Last weekend we we blessed with beautiful sun sets after two months of hazy days..

Black Camera Shots

This is my first few attempts to test Black Camera apps in my Note3 mobile phone.I can choose different types of black or grey, but a few selected tones are not free. The above look better than my B&W taken using the existing camera apps pre-installed in my mobile phone. Most of us ordinary folks take photos every day using our mobile phones. Why not try some of these free apps to make our photos looks better.Only a few of us are talented and professional photographers, but at least we put some efforts so that our  photos are getting better.I bet you will get more satisfaction from the results.

On reflection 2.0

Perfect reflection is too good.It is like you are seeing a double inverted laterally. However for this photo,I prefer almost still water, but I could see some ripples on the right. At times, the distortions seen on water is more artistic.

KL CAR Free Morning Ride

This is my second time.It was fun and I love to ride here again.. When there is no motorised vehicles on the roads,it is a heaven to ride in the city.I feel very safe and love to explore the side streets and back alleys. In KL,this luxury happens only on 1st and 3rd Sunday  from7-10am every month. Our city is designed for cars, buses and lorries.Bicycle lanes or paths are only after thoughts.Recently,a bicycle path from DBKL to Midvalley was a great initiative but badly maintained. So much about cycling in the city and we can forget about Green City. Our cities are all red! I love to see a cycling track being constructed under the elevated highway or railway track like above.Below is a good example how a river bank was used to construct a cycling path. How do we ride in the city during normal hours and on week days? Well, you need  a brave heart and body clothing protection like a racing driver.Billions of ringgit were for mass transport s...
