Looking at the size of their cameras and the branded models,I  quickly hid my camera inside my bag. This is the first time I attended Scott Kelby Photowalk led by Raja Indera Putra(Ripi).I kept quiet and just went with the flow.. Before we start walking, Ripi briefed us about our route and where to go snooping/snapping photos. He also cautioned us to be careful while walking in certain areas of Chow Kit Road and when/where to meet at the end of the Photowalk. Being a newbie,I followed experienced fellow photographers to stay safe and get good street photos as we walked to our destinations. Ripi is a good Manager in hosting a Photowalk. I leant a lot from him. Later,I hosted a few photo walks in Putrajaya where I guided my photog friends to take photos of beautiful locations in the Garden City of Putrajaya.   It was a gift from Allah to let me capture his Morning Glory at Pantai Irama at 6.53am on 16/10/2013. From that day until now 7/1/2022, I have yet to see such beauty by the beach any where in Malaysia.  The photo was taken using my old Canon 400D with a 50mm lens at f/5.6, 1/125, 50mm ISO 100. The above shot has inspired me to take more interest in landscape and outdoor photography. For this year 2022, I plan to focus more on urban photography, landscape photography and environmental documentary.

  I started this photography blog way back in 2014. Today, I have posted 1220 postings, the highest was in 2017-308 in one year. This year 2021, here is my 51st posting. This year is similar to last year. My movements are very restricted and I went out about twice a week. I hope COVID-19 will fade away soon so that I can do more photography. Our photo group Putrajaya Photowalk is very active this year. We posted hundreds of photos every month on about 50 themes. Despite MCOs, I managed to organise five Photowalk events for my group. Thank you all my friends for your active participation. As a group,  we started a photobook project two months ago. I hope we can print out our Photowalk Photobook next year. Personally, I have done four photobooks- Urban Photography, Putrajaya, Putrajaya Wetlands and the latest one Beauty of Putrajaya in Black & White(BOP).   Since MRT was opened I go to KL by MRT. My favourite stations to stop are Pavilion at Bukit Bintang and Pasar Seni. Yesterday, I went to KL for a Photowalk with my friends to capture the geometric photos around the River of Life, Bangunan Sultan Sultan Abdul Samad and KL Railway Station. As soon as I arrived at the Pasar Seni Station, my eyes started seeing so many geometric lines, shapes, colours and patterns all over the walls and even on the floors. Previously, I did not see as much as I saw yesterday because I was just passing through. But when I have the intention in my heart and mind to capture the beauty of geometric photography, my eyes started seeing things I never had seen before. The photos popped up on every wall and jumped off the floor! Now I realised my ability and capacity to see are being empowered and rejuvenated by my intention.
